The restaurant was very clean and well lit, the hibachi chef was very nice. They have very large portions as well. The noodles had a sweet sauce that taste good. They have a dinner deal that chooses 2 meats for $40 which is a great deal. It's very nice place to go for date night.

Coming back from a trip out east this was the area we crashed for the night. I will say this; not the best I have ever had but when combined with our amazing bartender we had a blast after a long day of driving. The chicken katsu was amazing, the sushi was average, the egg rolls were good and the fresh potstickers were the All-Stars! I would gladly go back as nothing I had was poor in taste or quality but my wife was not impressed with her sushi (and she is the sushi connoisseur in our marriage). We had multiple bottles of sake, and imported beers, along with some tequila. As I mentioned, our bartender was so accommodating and put on the World Series for us, let us try some different Tennessee whiskeys and was comically charged to boot! I would happily recommend stopping in if you happen to be in the area, walk in and take a B line to the left for the bar!

This is the first hibachi grill that literally gave me this amount of food. Granted all hibachi restaurants give you a lot of food but Kabuto took it to another level with rice, veggie, meat and noodles. Kabuto had a lot of options to choose from as well. I'm definitely not complaining. Well yes I am...they didn't have plum wine (they were out). Oh and they were out of calamari. Because of that I had to take a way a star! Besides that the food was good, the cook was good as well and listened to everyone! Definitely will go back in the future. Hopefully they will have plum wine then!

We t to Kabuto Japanese Steakhouse with a friend for lunch the other day. I have to say that in my opinion it was just ok. It wasn't my favorite hibachi location that I've been to. Although my friend really likes this place and comes here regularly, I'm not sure I'd go back. Don't get me wrong, it was alright, but my meat (Beef) was very fatty and not very flavorful even with the sauces. But the rolls that we got were both very good.

Hibachi...at Kabuto it's dinner with a show on the left or it's an intimate dining experience on the right in the "sushi bar" area. On the right side you can order everything you would get with the Hibachi show and more, they also have Bento boxes and a lot more on that menu than the Hibachi side does. So, basically you get two restaurants in one but still great food. I work right up the street from Kabuto, it was convenient, fast, and affordable. In the beginning I would give them a 5-star review. However...on the sushi bar side(which I frequented about 2-3 times a week) they up'd their prices by several dollars and you get less food now then you did before. So basically you are paying more for less, which is upsetting to me because my leftovers are my dinner that night. I always managed to get two meals out of my lunch. Now, you simply do not, and it takes them three times as long to get your food to you so you cannot do this if you are stuck to a strict one hour lunch time. Unfortunately, I do not have the luxury of taking however long a lunch I would like. I'm a simple worker bee, I have no freedom to do what I want. My favorite was the Bento Box which you will see in the pictures. In the Bento you can get your protein(Chicken, Steak, shrimp), one sushi roll from a choice of several, rice(steamed or fried), and a choice of egg roll or tempura vegetables. This was usually less than $10 AND I would get a broth soup for a starter. You don't get that much now. Now you get miso and salad during dinner but NOT lunch, and the Bento is only three items. You get your protein, then an egg roll, along with EITHER sushi OR fried rice. And it's now $12+ depending on your options. On the hibachi side, it has also went up $1-$2 depending on which entree you choose. But you get the same thing on that side, there really isn't an "options" menu other than what meat you want. Now, regardless of my issues with the cost of the place and the smaller portion sizes. The food is good, it's very well cooked, and flavored nicely. You just have to pay more for it now and wait longer for it to get to you. For dinner-time this can be a luxury if you're with people you love and are wanting to catch-up on life and such. For lunchtime this can get you terminated from your job. I just don't have time to wait an hour and half for food when I can go across the street to Arby's and get food in three minutes. No it won't taste as good, but it will be cheaper and faster and I don't risk losing my job over it. Here's the thing, I'm not someone who went to this place one in a blue moon. I was a very frequent customer, so I know the differences in "I got poor service because they're too busy" and "This place has went downhill, I need to find a new spot." I'm hoping that they will "re-vamp" the menu yet again and it will be for the better. I've worked up the street going on 7 years now and they've "re-vamped" the menu three times that I know of in that time, so it's a real possibility they will hear the voices of their customers and change. Now you can also order from Doordash.com to get the Hibachi delivered. I did this and included the pictures. Honestly, it was still too expensive, but man did it taste good!! Everything was very well packed and arrived nice and hot as well as faster than I would have gotten at the restaurant which speak volumes!! Here's a link to Doordash: https://drd.sh/OalR5p/ Here is a link to a video I created: https://youtu.be/j-I094go4KQ Also, I've got SO MANY pictures!!! Enjoy.

New to the area and starving a friend and I decided on Sushi. We pulled into the parking lot (busy Saturday evening) and almost decided not to go in bc of the number of cars. We decided to give it a try! The wait time to get to the desk was a little long, but everything was smooth sailing after that! There was no wait to sit down on the sushi side. The space upfront could use some re-configuring. So people are not standing in the way when it's super crowded- I also feel like they need a takeout line separate or route them to the bar for convenience (again it was a crazy Saturday night situation). Lots of delicious choices We got: Miso Soup (very good)! Nashville Roll- unique flavor Hot Night Roll- my favorite if I had to choose Hawaiian Roll- good spice Each Roll was super delicious and stood out in their own way.
